Position Overview

In this role, you will be tasked with delivering outstanding customer service while creating new sales avenues. You will handle customer inquiries and order requests through various channels, including direct interactions, phone calls, emails, and faxes. Additionally, you will be responsible for processing orders and ensuring timely product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming and engaging with clients. Promote additional products by recognizing related items and informing customers about current promotions.
  • Build and nurture relationships to position our business as the preferred supplier for our clients.
  • Evaluate market trends and advocate for sales strategies to enhance market presence and profitability.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding accounts, products, pricing, and services, both over the phone and in person.
  • Interact with customers to thoroughly understand their needs, respond to questions, and provide prompt solutions. Clearly communicate product features, benefits, and warranty information.
  • Manage order processing, including pricing, data entry, and providing order updates to customers. Prepare orders as necessary.
  • Restock merchandise as required, organizing stock on shelves or racks in the sales area, and maintaining a tidy showroom.
  • Operate a delivery vehicle to collect incoming stock or distribute materials to specified locations.

Work Environment

  • Typically situated in a comfortable indoor setting, with potential exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, odors, temperature variations, and noise.
  • Regularly requires standing or walking, and may involve lifting or carrying materials weighing between 8-40 pounds.
  • No travel is necessary for this position.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred, along with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
