Role of the Airport Security Screening Specialist

As a vital member of our team, you will utilize your exceptional customer service abilities to ensure passenger safety and enhance the travel experience by:

  • Conducting thorough screenings of passengers and luggage at security checkpoints
  • Delivering information with professionalism and integrity
  • Verifying valid boarding passes
  • Utilizing X-ray machines and metal detectors to scan and test baggage for prohibited items
  • Securing restricted areas
  • Adhering to all regulations with diligence
Qualifications for Success:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Ability to obtain a Transport Security Clearance and possess a clean criminal record
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
  • Must meet CATSA medical requirements
  • Proven customer service experience in a high-volume setting for at least one year
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
