Job Summary

Kudos Workforce Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of staffing, from identifying current and prospective staffing requirements to preparing job offers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment
    • Identify and analyze current and prospective staffing requirements to ensure business needs are met.
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to reach a wide audience.
  • Applicant Management
    • Collect and screen applicants to ensure they meet the minimum qualifications for the role.
    • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
    • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and coordinate the selection process.
  • Employee Relations
    • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
    • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to resolve conflicts and improve employee relations.
    • Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and coordinate the termination of employment process.
  • Security and Safety
    • Conduct criminal record checks to ensure a safe and secure work environment.

    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.

    • Demonstrate accurate, efficient, and organized work habits.
    • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and judgment.

    Requirements
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
    • Permanent full-time position with 30 to 40 hours per week.
    • Work language: English.
