Staffing and Recruitment Specialist

Kudos Workforce Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Officer to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of staffing, from identifying current and prospective staffing requirements to preparing job offers.
Key Responsibilities- Staffing and Recruitment
- Identify and analyze current and prospective staffing requirements to ensure business needs are met.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to reach a wide audience.
- Applicant Management
- Collect and screen applicants to ensure they meet the minimum qualifications for the role.
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
- Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and coordinate the selection process.
- Employee Relations
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to resolve conflicts and improve employee relations.
- Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and coordinate the termination of employment process.
- Security and Safety
- Conduct criminal record checks to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
- Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability
- Demonstrate accurate, efficient, and organized work habits.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and judgment.
- Work collaboratively as a team player to achieve business objectives.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Permanent full-time position with 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Work language: English.
