Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at Restonit Mattress Manufacturing Inc. as a Recruitment Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements and advising job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing Planning: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to ensure adequate staffing levels to meet business needs.
  • Candidate Management: Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, including eligibility to entitlements and staff training.
  • Recruitment: Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to fill vacant positions.
  • Interview Coordination: Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and notify applicants of results of the selection process.
  • Job Offer Preparation: Prepare job offers and advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Employee Onboarding: Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
Work Environment
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
