Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at Restonit Mattress Manufacturing Inc. as a key member of our HR department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the recruitment and staffing process, ensuring that our organization has the right talent to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Staffing: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, review candidate inventories, and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.
  • Talent Acquisition: Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions, notify applicants of results of selection process, and prepare job offers.
  • Staffing Policies and Procedures: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, determine eligibility to entitlements, and arrange staff training.
  • Workforce Planning: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, and develop strategies to meet business needs.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
