Key Responsibilities:
- Manage appointment scheduling, assess customer requirements, process billing transactions, facilitate bank deposits, handle claims, and follow up on daily tasks while promoting suitable products and services during client communications.
- Deliver prompt, precise, and courteous customer service. This includes addressing inquiries about insurance options, eligibility, coverage details, policy modifications, transfers, claim submissions, and billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with the agent to identify gaps in insurance coverage during client discussions.
- Property & Casualty license (OTL license preferred/must be obtained prior to starting employment)
- Strong work ethic
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Proficient in computer applications, including Excel, Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication abilities - written, verbal, and listening
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Commitment to customer service excellence
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Capability to present information to prospective clients
This position is within an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network. The employees of this agent are not employees of Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. Independent contractor agents are responsible for all employment decisions regarding their staff.
