About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Customer Service and Sales Representative to join our team at Dumitru Pitu - Desjardins Insurance Agent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, identifying customer needs, and marketing appropriate insurance products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Leads and Manage Client Accounts: Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate insurance products and services.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, etc.
  • Meet Marketing Goals: Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, ensuring the growth and success of our business.
Requirements
  • Sales Experience: Sales experience, preferably in outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing.
  • Meeting Sales Goals: A successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas.
  • Insurance Licenses: Property & Casualty license or LLQP (or both), or ability to obtain.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and listening.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive in problem-solving, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Customer Focus: Dedicated to customer service, with a strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to make presentations to potential customers, with confidence and poise.
  • Insurance Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of insurance industry practices and regulations, a plus.
  • Education: Diploma or degree in business, finance, or related field, preferred.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual skills, preferred. Speaking Mandarin or Cantonese, a plus.
