Permanent Intermediate Teacher Position

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Intermediate Teacher to join our team at St. Marguerite d'Youville Catholic Elementary School.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach Intermediate-level subjects to students
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve academic goals
- Bachelor of Education Degree and good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
- Qualifications appropriate to the position
- Previous elementary teaching experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession, and Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession
- Practicing Catholic with an active Catholic Faith life
- Proficient knowledge and understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation, and assessment techniques
- Current understanding of research, integrating technology, and best instructional practices
- Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment
- A dynamic and supportive work environment
- Opportunities for professional growth and development
