The London District Catholic School Board is a reputable educational institution with a strong commitment to excellence. Our organization serves approximately 27,000 students across 44 elementary schools, 9 secondary schools, and St. Patrick Adult & Continuing Education in Middlesex, Oxford, and Elgin counties.

We are currently seeking a qualified Junior/Intermediate Teacher to join our team at St. Francis Catholic Elementary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming and safe learning environment for students, promoting academic excellence, and fostering spiritual growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Education Degree and good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Qualifications appropriate to the position
  • Previous elementary teaching experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession, and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession
  • Practicing Catholic with an active Catholic Faith life
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation, and assessment techniques
  • Current understanding of research, integrating technology, and best instructional practices
  • Effective classroom management skills

  • Baptismal Certificate or Proof of Initiation into the Roman Catholic Church

  • A minimum of three professional references
