Brandt is seeking a driven and experienced Director of Sales – Forestry to lead our operations in Quebec and Atlantic Canada.
This role is pivotal in expanding market share for new forestry equipment while providing expert guidance on the valuation of used equipment inventory.
Your Responsibilities:
- Achieve ambitious market share targets, contributing to the long-term success of our manufacturer and Brandt.
- Optimize asset management by maximizing inventory turnover, minimizing aging, and safeguarding company assets, including both new and used equipment.
- Provide valuable input on standardized build codes for our inventory products.
- Deliver detailed feedback and forecasts regarding inventory levels to ensure alignment with sales goals and market share objectives.
- Offer insightful feedback and analysis on emerging opportunities and competitive pressures within the forestry sector.
- Become a champion for Telematic and Machine monitoring capabilities, highlighting their unique value proposition offered by Brandt and John Deere.
- Analyze competitive quotes, pricing strategies, and offers to gain market intelligence, enhance our market share, and maximize profitability.
- Develop and execute effective sales and marketing programs tailored specifically to the forestry industry.
- Build strong relationships with customers and Brandt team members by regularly visiting job sites, providing mentorship on sales strategies, product features, and tactics to overcome challenges.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within your team, empowering employees to achieve their full potential and contribute to long-term success for both the company and our valued customers.
- Effectively manage the duties, assignments, and expenses of Corporate Product Managers assigned to your area of responsibility.
- Collaborate closely with branch sales teams to cultivate relationships with mill yard customers, develop multi-level sales strategies, create customer organization charts, and gain a deep understanding of unique market challenges and opportunities.
- Provide valuable feedback to Brandt Engineered Products to support the innovation and development of attachments and products that expand our opportunities within the forestry segment.
- Actively participate in Brandt/Deere DAG/CAG initiatives as required.
- Demonstrate fluency in both English and French.
