Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Production Specialist to join our team at the York Region District School Board. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for developing and producing high-quality multimedia content to support our educational programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce multimedia content, including video, audio, and graphic arts, to support educational programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project leads and other team members to ensure that multimedia content meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on the use of multimedia equipment and software.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in multimedia production and make recommendations for new tools and techniques.
  • Work with clients to develop and produce multimedia content that meets their specific needs and goals.
Requirements
  • Secondary School Graduation Diploma with two years of post-secondary education in media production.
  • Minimum two years of related work experience in multimedia production.
  • Strong working knowledge of audio and video capture and production.
  • Strong working knowledge of Mac digital editing systems, including Adobe Creative Suites, Final Cut Studio, DVD Studio Pro or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of media hardware, wiring, and integration.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license (G Class).
