Reporting to the Program Manager of Creative and Digital Media, the Creative Media Coordinator plays a pivotal role in strategizing, organizing, and producing video content for targeted projects within the Public Works Department, as well as capturing digital imagery for departmental assets and events. This position requires close collaboration with various branches of the department and Corporate Communications to ensure that all video and photographic materials are up-to-date and align with both departmental and corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Designs and produces multimedia content, including videos and photographs, to effectively showcase departmental initiatives.Utilizes expertise in electronic media to ensure consistent and impactful messaging.Creates detailed project plans, scripted outlines, and storyboards that reflect the department's vision.Coordinates with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for media production.Organizes photo and video shoots, including the arrangement of equipment and scheduling.Collaborates with external partners on projects and the development of communication materials.Undertakes additional tasks as required to support branch or departmental goals.Qualifications
Completion of a Community College Diploma in Film and/or Video Production, Photography, Media Communications, or a related discipline.Proven experience in producing corporate video content and photography.Familiarity with video and photo equipment, as well as audio recording tools.Understanding of effective communication techniques, especially in digital media.Proficient in digital editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite.Possession of a valid Ontario Class 'G' driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for work-related purposes.
