Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at India Paradise Restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Conduct performance reviews to evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Cost products and services to ensure optimal pricing and profitability.
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to maintain a safe and responsible environment.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient stock management and minimize waste.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to protect employees and customers.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best deals.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer loyalty and retention.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Supervise staff in various areas of responsibility to ensure effective team management.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks to maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Work under pressure to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Attend to details to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
  • Manage a large workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Work overtime as required to ensure the restaurant operates efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a 35-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
