Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at India Paradise Restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and manage a team of staff in various areas of responsibility, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and kitchen operations.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, cash handling, and budgeting.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, including social media, advertising, and promotions.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of the restaurant, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Work Environment:

The Restaurant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with a large workload and tight deadlines. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
