Commercial Credit Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Commercial Credit Portfolio Manager. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial credit relationships and ensuring that they are aligned with the Bank's risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of commercial credit relationships, including credit analysis, risk assessment, and portfolio monitoring.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve portfolio quality and reduce risk.
- Collaborate with business partners to ensure that credit terms and conditions are appropriate and sound risk decisions are achieved.
- Provide guidance and coaching to team members on credit and risk management best practices.
- Contribute to the development of the Bank's commercial human resources by identifying training needs and ensuring that individual coaching and group coaching is provided to Commercial Banking and Global Risk Management Team members.
- Thorough understanding of Commercial Banking and the Bank's credit policies and procedures.
- Expert understanding of Bank lending policies and procedures, financial analysis, risk assessment techniques, credit structuring, collateral and security documentation and registration, collection, related legislation, and accounting practices.
- Strong leadership skills as demonstrated by the management of a team of adjudicators.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to converse effectively with line and corporate personnel.
- Bilingual (French/English) verbal and written is required for the role.
