Bilingual Life Insurance Administrator
The Bilingual Life Insurance Administrator plays a vital role in delivering administrative support and exceptional customer service for Voluntary Life Insurance Plans, ensuring the effective management of Group Life Insurance Programs. This position encompasses a variety of administrative responsibilities, including the processing of applications, claims, deposits, waivers, and maintaining databases, along with special projects. The Administrator acts as a primary contact for group members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee coverage within database systems and financial ledgers
- Handle deposits and checks within the accounting database
- Refer to policy manuals for procedural guidance
- Execute general administrative duties such as data upkeep, filing, and record management
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of tasks and data
- Organize and log incoming work, including applications, correspondence, and emails
- Document time spent on tasks utilizing the company’s Time Information Management System
Qualifications for this position include a minimum of one year of experience in an office setting, familiarity with Life Insurance Benefits administration, proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office practices, and excellent communication skills in both English and French. Strong data entry and mathematical abilities, compliance with company policies, and experience in benefits administration within unionized environments are also essential.
