Position Overview

As a pivotal member of the management team, the Assistant Retail Manager plays a crucial role in steering the operational success of the store. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this position is essential in cultivating a team-oriented environment that prioritizes exceptional service and promotes overall wellness within the community.

This role demands a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on leadership, focusing on enhancing productivity and profitability while upholding the core values of the company. The Assistant Retail Manager collaborates closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement effective business strategies that encompass People, Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Community Engagement.

By actively participating in daily operations, the Assistant Retail Manager helps to nurture and reinforce the company's culture, engaging in practices that reflect the values of Wellness, Growth, Celebration, Greatness, and Belonging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor Team Members dedicated to fostering financial wellness in retail.
  • Encourage professional development and retention of Team Members by recognizing their unique talents.
  • Establish and maintain a succession planning strategy.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, set objectives, and provide ongoing feedback to direct reports.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to formulate annual and quarterly strategic initiatives aimed at business growth.
  • Drive business performance and meet critical KPIs, including revenue growth, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
  • Exhibit strong analytical capabilities to enhance store performance.
  • Ensure Team Members possess the necessary product knowledge to provide informed recommendations to customers.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and identify opportunities to enhance the in-store experience.
  • Foster a culture of outstanding customer service, sharing product knowledge and promoting wellness.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to business growth through community involvement.
  • Motivate and empower your team through effective coaching and collaboration, embodying the company's core values.
