Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Representative to join our team at Reimagined Parking. As an Account Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely payment from our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Resolve Accounts in Arrears: Proactively identify accounts that are past due and establish communication with customers to resolve outstanding balances.
- Manage and Update Accounts Receivable Reports: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts receivable, including aging reports and customer communication.
- Collaborate with External Agencies: Work with external collection agencies to resolve outstanding accounts and ensure timely payment.
- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Handle inbound calls and emails from customers, providing prompt and professional assistance with billing inquiries and issues.
- Apply Accounts Receivable Policy and Procedure: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for accounts receivable, including collection steps and communication with customers.
- Communicate with Branch Operations Staff: Collaborate with branch operations staff to gather information and resolve customer issues.
- Assist with Customer and Coworker Understanding: Provide support to customers and coworkers to understand various accounts and resolve issues.
- Monitor and Prioritize Work: Proactively monitor for issues and prioritize work to achieve best results in reducing accounts receivable to acceptable levels.
- Take Ownership of Outstanding Issues: Take ownership of outstanding issues and ensure all parties provide their piece of the problem until full resolution is achieved.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers.
- Customer Service Experience: 1+ years of experience handling inbound and outbound customer service calls, resolving customer service issues via email and phone.
- Team Player: Highly motivated individual who works well in a team environment and can work independently.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and ability to prioritize and manage expectations.
