Job Title: Boom Crane Operator

We are seeking a skilled Boom Crane Operator to join our team at Foundation Building Materials. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating boom cranes to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Boom Cranes: Safely and efficiently operate boom cranes to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.
  • Conduct Pre-Operational Inspections: Perform pre-operational inspections on boom cranes to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Measure Weight: Measure the weight of materials and equipment to prepare for rigging and hoisting.
  • Clean and Lubricate Cranes: Clean and lubricate boom cranes to maintain their performance and extend their lifespan.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on boom cranes to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Rig and Hoist Equipment: Rig and hoist equipment using boom cranes to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a boom crane operator.
  • Certifications: Boom Truck Crane Operator Trade Certification.
Work Environment:

As a boom crane operator, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. You must be physically fit and able to work at heights.
