Job Summary:

Varsteel Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Warehouseman to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all health and safety training required by Varsteel to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Utilize mechanical aptitude to operate equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain effective written and verbal communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with colleagues.
  • Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license to operate company vehicles.

Requirements:

  • Experience with cranes, wood saws, chop saws, torches, and various hand tools is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $25.00-$31.00 per hour.
  • $500.00 signing bonus upon completion of probation.
