Boom Crane Operator

Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is a leading construction material distributor, specializing in the local supply of building materials. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Boom Crane Operator to join our team.

Job Description:
  • Calculate crane load capacities
  • Perform pre-operational inspection
  • Lubricate and clean cranes
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Safely operate mobile cranes to lift, move, position or place materials and equipment
  • Rig Loads for safe lifting and transport
Requirements:
  • Secondary school diploma required
  • Boom Crane Operator Trade Certification
  • Personal Suitability:
    • Team player
    • Flexibility
    • Hardworking
  • Language Requirements:
    • Must be able to communicate in English
    Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
    • Physically demanding
    • Work under pressure
    • Hand-eye co-ordination
    Compensation:

$36.00 hourly for 30-40 hours per week

Experience:

1-2 years of job-related experience is required
