We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Home Manager to join our team at the John Howard Society.
About the RoleThe Group Home Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to professional and non-professional staff in a group home setting. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and advise professional and non-professional staff
- Ensure the safety and security of residents and staff
- Manage transportation and travel arrangements
- Develop and implement programs to promote resident well-being
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a group home or residential care setting
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
