As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with acquired brain injury, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Therapy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing individual and group interventions, cleaning and preparing treatment spaces, ordering supplies, and organizing storage spaces. You will also provide support and clerical assistance as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement individual and group interventions related to patients' rehabilitation goals
  • Clean and prepare treatment spaces
  • Order supplies and manage storage spaces
  • Provide support and clerical assistance as needed
Requirements:
  • Completion of a diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team
  • CPR certification (BLS for Health Care Providers Level C)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Greater than three months' experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation interdisciplinary team providing care for stroke and brain-injured patients
