Description:
As a Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for implementing individual and group interventions related to patients' rehabilitation goals, maintaining a clean and organized treatment space, and supporting the care team with administrative tasks. You will also have opportunities to contribute to quality improvement initiatives, program planning, and student supervision.
Required Qualifications:
A diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training is required. You must also possess strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting, particularly with stroke and brain-injured patients, is highly desirable. A strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills are also essential for success in this role.
