About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geophysicist to join our team at Dejour Energy. As a key member of our exploration and development team, you will play a critical role in advancing our understanding of the physical, chemical, and biological properties of the oceans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Oceanographic Research Programs: Plan, direct, and participate in analyses of geological, geochemical, and geophysical survey data, well logs, and other test results, maps, notes, and cross sections.
  • Advise on Natural Risks: Identify and advise on anticipated natural risks, ensuring the safety of our operations and personnel.
  • Lead Geological and Geochemical Field Studies: Plan, direct, and participate in geological, geochemical, and geophysical field studies, drilling, and geological testing programs.
  • Direct Well Completion and Evaluation: Direct and monitor the completion and evaluation of wells, well testing, and well surveys.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
