We are currently looking for a skilled professional to become part of our Corporate Services team as a Procurement Advisor. This role involves delivering expert guidance, assistance, and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders of the Yukon Government. We seek a motivated, detail-oriented, and quick-learning team member who excels in communication, analytical thinking, research, and stakeholder engagement. Our team promotes a cooperative work environment that encourages effective communication and teamwork across the Yukon Government.

Essential Qualifications
Interested candidates should submit their resume, clearly demonstrating how they meet each of the following qualifications. Please note that selection for further consideration will be based solely on the information provided in your resume.

  • Experience in contracting and/or procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in drafting, developing, and managing documents, guides, and tools to facilitate program delivery and contract management.
  • Experience in client service and/or stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret policies with the aim of providing options and recommendations.
  • Possession of a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) or Public Sector Procurement Program (PSPP) certification, or similar supply chain certification, is considered an asset.
  • Experience in project management is also regarded as an asset.

Candidates with education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may also be considered.
