Our Opportunity:

We are seeking a Franchise Performance Manager to play a pivotal role in our operations. Reporting to the Area Franchise Lead, the Franchise Performance Manager (FPM) serves as a vital partner and advisor to our restaurants. The FPM is responsible for reviewing and analyzing operational, financial, and business data, collaborating with Owners and Managers to enhance overall performance while ensuring compliance with business and operational standards. The FPM acts as the primary communication conduit between TDL and the Restaurant Owners and Managers within their designated area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functions as a business consultant and mentor to Owners and Managers on all facets of their restaurants, including financial performance, operational efficiency, team engagement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Examines all Restaurant Operating reports and audits, interprets the data, and collaborates with Owners and Managers to identify effective solutions.
  • Analyzes the financial, business, and operational performance of restaurants, identifies areas for improvement, and partners with Owners and Managers to develop strategies to enhance performance.
  • Conducts regular financial reviews (P&L, Balance Sheet) with Owners and Managers.
  • Ensures successful implementation of new initiatives, such as product launches, technological advancements, process enhancements, and marketing campaigns, to drive sales growth.
  • Represents the Tim Hortons Brand/Business with integrity and professionalism at all times.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of operational experience with P&L accountability, ideally in a multi-unit capacity within a national, franchise, or high-growth consumer or retail environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related discipline.
  • Strong business acumen and financial insight, coupled with business development skills.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with others (Owners, Colleagues) to achieve objectives.
  • Capable of analyzing and interpreting data, identifying issues and their root causes, and exercising sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively across various formats and audiences.
  • Willingness to travel within the region and adapt to operational needs, including availability during evenings and weekends.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a driving record that complies with provincial regulations.
