Sales Support Coordinator

The Role

The Sales Support Coordinator plays a vital role in assisting the sales team and clients, facilitating revenue growth while gaining insight into the complete sales process. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting sales representatives by managing various tasks throughout the sales cycle.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and processing bookings efficiently.
  • Handling urgent incoming requests and ensuring timely completion of bookings.
  • Researching hotel options for extended stays or project requirements.
  • Modifying or canceling bookings as necessary.
  • Utilizing multiple reservation systems to adjust check-out dates or other details.
  • Collaborating with hotels to secure reservations during peak times.
  • Ensuring all necessary identification numbers are attached to reservations.
  • Generating reports to verify booking accuracy.
  • Working with the Commissions team for account management.
  • Retrieving folios for all bookings across systems.
  • Streamlining processes for folio retrieval when challenges arise.
  • Performing additional administrative tasks as required.
  • Developing expertise in specific segments.
  • Assisting with other accounts or segments as needed.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
  • Addressing basic customer service issues as they arise.

Qualifications for Success

  • Ability to engage in company-provided and self-directed training.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Familiarity with the travel industry is advantageous.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Education: High School Diploma.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Sabre, Synxis, and Opera is beneficial.
  • Experience with web browsers (e.g., Microsoft Edge, Chrome).
  • Minimum one year of sales experience, preferably in the hospitality sector.
