Fire Safety and Protection Technician

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing fire alarm systems and devices, as well as providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- System Installation and Maintenance: Install, inspect, and repair fire alarm systems and devices, ensuring compliance with local and national security standards.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, explaining system details and addressing customer concerns.
- System Testing and Repair: Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
- Site Inspections: Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
- Valid CFAA License: Possess a valid full CFAA License.
- Technical Skills: Have prior experience with monitoring systems, emergency lighting systems, and security systems, with a preference for Siemens and/or Mircom ESD experience.
- Soft Skills: Possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, customer-oriented mentality, and ability to work within a territory and surrounding areas.
- Physical Demands: Be able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, standing for prolonged periods, lifting 35 lbs, and other requirements common to a CFAA Technician.
- Flexibility: Be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, and may require overnight travel.
