About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Fire Safety and Protection, LLC. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and servicing fire alarm and security systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and inspect fire alarm systems and devices to ensure they are functioning properly
  • Install and service fire alarm and security systems, including wiring and circuit testing
  • Conduct site inspections to determine materials requirements and installation procedures
  • Explain system details to customers, including causes and consequences of false alarms
  • Repair and test circuits and sensors, following system specifications
  • Ensure compliance with local and national security standards
Requirements
  • Valid full CFAA License required
  • Ability and desire to learn all facets of the Fire Alarm Technician role
  • Prior experience with monitoring systems, emergency lighting systems, and security systems preferred
  • Siemens and/or Mircom ESD experience preferred
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Customer-oriented mentality
  • Ability to work within the territory and surrounding areas
Physical Requirements
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet
  • Work within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, and stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Lift 35 pounds and other requirements common to a Fire Alarm Technician
