Culinary Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commis de Cuisine to join our culinary team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation: Prepare, season, and cook food as directed, meeting special dietary instructions as required.
- Recipe Execution: Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality in our dishes.
- Team Leadership: Provide direction to lower-level Commis Chefs as assigned, promoting a positive and productive team environment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and maintain assigned station and overall kitchen through practicing good safety and sanitation habits.
- Compliance: Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Education: Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Culinary Experience: Culinary degree OR 2 years of related work experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Physical Demands: Able to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
