The Safety & Training Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance and enhancing the skills of our drivers. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at maintaining high safety standards and effective training programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hours of Service Management
    • Utilize ISAACInRealTime for monitoring and assisting drivers with their logbooks.
    • Provide training and support to drivers regarding logbook edits.
    • Document and address any violations with the respective drivers.
    • Engage with drivers to discuss violation details and provide coaching.
    • Maintain accurate records by scanning and filing documents related to driver violations.
  • Logbook Auditing
    • Access driver information through ISAACInRealTime.
    • Identify necessary log edits and ensure compliance with HOS regulations.
  • Road Evaluations
    • Review applications, CVOR, and driving abstracts.
    • Conduct road tests and complete necessary documentation.
    • Assess applicants' work history and provide feedback.
  • Orientation Coordination
    • Prepare and organize orientation sessions for new hires.
    • Ensure all materials are ready and participants are informed.
    • Deliver orientation content effectively and address any questions.
    • Facilitate the completion of onboarding documents.
  • Training and Development
    • Conduct ongoing training sessions for drivers, focusing on compliance and safety.
    • Identify training needs and develop solutions for skill enhancement.
    • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and documentation.
  • Accident Management
    • Communicate with drivers involved in incidents to gather necessary information.
    • Complete accident documentation and conduct reviews.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license.
