Job Title: Safety & Training Coordinator

At CAT inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety & Training Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations, conducting driver training, and providing support to our drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular log audits to ensure compliance with HOS regulations
  • Provide training to drivers on HOS regulations, ELD systems, and other safety-related topics
  • Assist drivers with logbook editing and training
  • Identify and document HOS violations, and provide coaching to drivers to prevent future incidents
  • Conduct road evaluations, including reviewing applications, CVORs, and abstracts
  • Develop and implement training programs to improve driver performance and safety
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license
  • English and French language proficiency
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
