About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Compliance Coordinator to join our team at CAT inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our drivers and fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logbook Auditing and Compliance
    • Conduct regular logbook audits to ensure compliance with Hours of Service regulations
    • Identify and address any non-compliance issues
  • Road Evaluations
    • Conduct thorough road evaluations to assess driver skills and knowledge
    • Provide feedback and coaching to drivers to improve their performance
  • Orientation and Training
    • Develop and deliver comprehensive orientation programs for new drivers
    • Provide ongoing training and coaching to drivers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their job safely and effectively
  • Accident Investigation and Reporting
    • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
    • Prepare and submit reports to management and regulatory agencies as required
  • Driver Compliance and Support
    • Monitor driver compliance with company policies and regulations
    • Provide support and coaching to drivers to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Valid Class 1 driver's license
    • English language proficiency
    • French language proficiency
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
