The northern operations of Miller Paving Limited, located in New Liskeard, Ontario, strive to create an inspiring workplace where individuals are motivated to reach their full potential. Our Northern divisions have broadened their services to include bridge construction, among others. Our comprehensive service offerings encompass: new construction and rehabilitation of roads and highways, bridges, culverts, concrete pavement structures, and entranceways & parking lots.
As a Junior Project Coordinator, Your Responsibilities Will Include:- Supporting Site Supervisors in managing contracts and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Setting up and operating GPS instruments for layout and as-built documentation of roads, pipes, excavations, utilities, and conduits.
- Collecting, organizing, and documenting geographic data.
- Assisting in the preparation of drawings, charts, plans, records, and other documentation.
- Organizing survey records, measurements, and related information.
- Facilitating daily payroll entries, cost tracking, and scheduling.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post-secondary program in civil engineering or business administration (preferred).
- Accounting experience is considered an asset.
- Adhering to confidentiality practices regarding sensitive information.
- Effectively managing high-pressure situations.
- Demonstrating strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills with a high level of reliability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is required.
- Exhibiting punctuality and dependability.
- Being a collaborative team member.
