Our northern operations at Miller Paving Limited, located in New Liskeard, Ontario, are committed to fostering a workplace where individuals are motivated to excel. Our Northern divisions have broadened their offerings to include bridge construction, among other services. Our extensive range of services encompasses: new construction and rehabilitation of roads and highways, bridges, culverts, concrete pavement structures, and entranceways & parking lots.
As a Junior Project Coordinator, Your Responsibilities Will Include:- Supporting Site Supervisors in managing contracts and fulfilling contractual obligations
- Setting up and operating GPS instruments for layout and as-built documentation of roads, pipes, excavation, utilities, and conduits
- Collecting, organizing, and documenting geographic data
- Assisting in the preparation of drawings, charts, plans, records, and other documentation
- Organizing records, measurements, and various survey data
- Facilitating daily payroll entries, along with cost tracking and scheduling
- Adhering to established policies and procedures
- Performing administrative tasks as required
- Participating in project-related meetings
- Conducting general labor tasks when necessary
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Ability to convey effective verbal and written instructions
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a post-secondary program in civil engineering or business administration (preferred)
- Experience in accounting is considered an asset
- Commitment to confidentiality and non-disclosure practices
- Capability to manage high-pressure situations
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills with a high level of reliability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Punctuality and dependability are essential
- A collaborative mindset is crucial
