The Role

As a Personal Insurance Client Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to safeguard the most valuable assets of our clients. You will deliver exceptional customer service through your positive demeanor while leveraging your extensive knowledge of personal insurance products, including home, travel, and auto insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to assess and advise on their insurance requirements, ensuring they receive optimal coverage in all areas of Personal Insurance (home, travel, auto).
  • Maintain regular follow-ups on sales leads and referrals.
  • Manage renewals efficiently, ensuring policies are processed accurately and promptly.
  • Meet and exceed sales and retention objectives.
  • Continuously enhance your understanding of our Personal Lines and Auto products through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in Personal Insurance.
  • A Level 2 General Insurance License is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • A strong desire and proactive approach to delivering outstanding client service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record in driving sales initiatives.
  • Relevant industry designations (CIP, CAIB, CRM, General Insurance & Risk Management Diploma) are considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $45,000.00 and $50,000.00, influenced by the candidate's skills, experience, and location. HUB International offers a comprehensive benefits package that may include extended health coverage, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid time off, and potential bonuses and commissions for certain roles.
