Job Title: Head Janitorial Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Janitorial Supervisor to join our team at Akartar Janitorial Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of light duty cleaners to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of cleaning schedules and procedures.
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Client-focused and dependable with a strong sense of initiative and judgement.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
  • Physically demanding with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Schedule:

35 hours per week, permanent position.
