About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Janitorial Supervisor to join our team at Akartar Janitorial Services Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the work of light duty cleaners and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Assist with Cleaning Duties: Provide support to cleaners as needed and assist with the performance of cleaning tasks.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement work schedules to ensure that our facilities are cleaned and maintained efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a janitorial or facilities management role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to work under pressure.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
