About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Manager to join our team at Kerry. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HSE programs and policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HSE programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Collaborate with site operations management and business unit HSE Manager to facilitate the implementation of HSE annual objectives and improvement plans.
  • Manage and maintain records and reports as required by the Ministry of Environment, Community, and Parks (MOECP).
  • Report and submit environmental sustainability information in the ESG program in Intelex on a monthly basis.
  • Manage the site ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
  • Act as an effective organizational coach and mentor to foster and sustain a safe work culture.
  • Undertake regular audits and inspections of the site, developing corrective and preventive actions with the operations team as needed.
  • Identify site HSE training needs, develop resources, and execute training sessions for employees and management staff.
  • Organize and facilitate site safety committee meetings (Joint Health and Safety Committee).
  • Support site supervisors with the investigation of HSE incidents at the site, leading the investigation process and collaborating with corporate staff as necessary.
  • Communicate HSE incidents and corrective actions in a timely, thorough, and effective manner.
  • Maintain HSE records to ensure adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of HSE experience in a manufacturing setting or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement in safety.
  • Ability to affect change through indirect leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Organized.
  • Strong critical thinking ability, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to travel infrequently.
