Position Overview

Join the dynamic team at WORLD FOOD NETWORK INC. as a Culinary Services Supervisor. This permanent role offers a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week in a vibrant restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Management: Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules.
  • Inventory Control: Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of team members involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Training: Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
  • Financial Planning: Prepare budgets and cost estimates for operations.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports as required.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Supervisory Role

Responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.

Work Environment

The role is set in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment with tight deadlines. Expect a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the need to stand for extended periods.
