Sales Director

Brandt is seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our Material Handling team. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic relationships with suppliers, and providing market intelligence to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve market share goals and drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including primary point of contact and relationship ownership.
- Provide market intelligence and insights to inform business decisions and drive competitiveness.
- Manage supplier requests for information, business plans, and other related activities.
- Identify and develop new supplier opportunities and assist in expanding existing relationships.
- Manage asset management goals, including turn and aging, to minimize losses and protect company assets.
- Provide input on standardized build codes for inventory products and detailed feedback on inventory levels.
- Travel regularly to interact with territory managers, customers, and other stakeholders to provide guidance and support.
- Work closely with branches to develop employees and build a knowledgeable, motivated, and successful team.
- Proactively manage duties, assignments, and expenses to drive sales growth and develop new opportunities.
- Collaborate with branch sales teams to build relationships with potential customers, develop multi-level sales strategies, and understand unique market challenges and opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on national account purchasing strategies, multi-year budgeting processes, and market trends.
- Attend industry events, participate actively, and promote all divisions of Brandt.
- Other projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
- Extensive travel required, with a minimum of 125 days spent traveling throughout operating locations.
