Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Leading team members by guiding their efforts according to the project work plan.
  • Engaging in and often facilitating collaborative sessions to prioritize requests and clarify requirements.
  • Working autonomously or collaboratively, always supported by your manager and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Delivering level 2 and level 3 support for existing business solutions.
  • Investigating and troubleshooting technical issues while proposing enhancements to applications.
  • Debugging Python, Data Warehouse scripts, ASP.Net/C# code, and SQL stored procedures to identify root causes and potential solutions.
  • Mentoring and providing support to junior team members.
  • Assisting in the automation and identification of gaps in application monitoring processes.
  • Researching and acquiring knowledge of new tools to enhance operational solutions.
  • Collaborating as a unified team with Digital Development, Infrastructure, Client Services, and other departments.
  • Adhering to stringent internal technical standards and policies to ensure high quality and security in all operations.
  • Performing necessary on-call duties as part of a rotation schedule.
  • Challenging your team with new insights, expert skills, and diverse perspectives.

Do these qualities resonate with you?

  • At least 3 years of experience in diagnosing, isolating, and debugging software issues in multi-tier web and Windows-based applications.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with Visual Studio, ASP.Net, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Over 2 years of experience in designing and supporting Azure environments, including IaaS and PaaS.
  • Microsoft Azure Certification is advantageous, with minimum requirements being AZ900 and AZ400.
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging Azure services, tools, and offerings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Azure service implementation, interconnectivity, best practices, and patterns.
  • Experience in designing and supporting enterprise core services and cloud deployments.
  • Familiarity with supporting ETL processes to manage and transform data through flat batch files, XML files, and SSIS packages.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and shift focus to the next priority task.
  • Proficiency in developing complex queries, debugging stored procedures, and troubleshooting SQL Jobs.
  • Capability to identify application issues stemming from infrastructure challenges in a Windows Server environment, including problems related to IIS, Load Balancing, certificates, and connectivity.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proven success in managing multiple activities of varying complexity under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in large, multidisciplinary teams.
  • A post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field.
