About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at OSMOWS GUELPH. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Evaluate and optimize daily operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and supplies.
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to staff members.
    • Ensure that all staff members are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and have a positive dining experience.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
    • Monitor and control cash handling and ensure accurate accounting practices.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and maintained.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Supervision
    • Supervise a team of 3-4 staff members.

    Requirements
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
    • Permanent employment.
    • English language proficiency.
    • 30 to 44 hours per week.
