Community Foot Care Nurse Opportunity

Lifemark Healthcare is seeking a skilled Community Foot Care Nurse to join our team at KARP Home Care. As a division of Lifemark, we are passionate about enriching the health of Canadians through movement.

This role involves providing foot care assessments and consultations, aiding in the reduction of corn and callus, and executing preventative screening and education. You will also educate and administer Diabetic Foot Care, clean and sterilize all Foot Care Instruments, and travel to clients' homes across the lower mainland to provide treatments.

Requirements:
  • Registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of BC
  • Completion of an approved Advanced Foot Care Training Program
  • Ability to provide own foot care tools and supplies
  • Ability to follow best practices for inflectional control, organize work, and implement a plan of care
  • Experience in LTC is an asset
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid driver's License and willingness to travel around the lower mainland
