We are seeking a skilled Foot Care Specialist to join our team at pt Health. As a Community Health Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality foot care services to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough foot care assessments and consultations to identify potential issues and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide preventative screening and education to clients on proper foot care techniques and hygiene practices.
- Administer diabetic foot care services, including wound management and treatment.
- Travel to clients' homes across the lower mainland to provide treatments and services.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and treatment plans.
- Registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of BC.
- Completion of an approved Advanced Foot Care Training Program.
- Ability to provide own foot care tools and supplies.
- Ability to follow best practices for infection control, organize work, and implement a plan of care.
- Experience in LTC is an asset.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel around the lower mainland.
