Position Overview
The Faculty of Arts and Science is in search of a qualified Administrative Support III professional to join our team. This role is essential for enhancing the operational efficiency of our administrative support unit.At the University of Lethbridge, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment. We are looking for a proactive, service-oriented individual who will take initiative and positively impact the effectiveness of the Arts and Science Administrative Support Team.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support for Arts and Science academic programs, with a primary focus on the Departments of Psychology and Neuroscience.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A two-year diploma in Office Administration or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated administrative capabilities, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications, basic financial transactions, and website management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organizational, record-keeping, filing, and telephone skills.
Preference will be given to candidates familiar with the University of Lethbridge's programs and systems, as well as those with experience in a post-secondary educational setting.
