Job Title: Automotive Strategic Alliances Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Strategic Alliances Manager to join our team at BlackBerry QNX. As a key member of our Product & Strategy team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust automotive ecosystem that strengthens and complements our value proposition.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and manage key silicon and software partners to drive business capture
  • Grow and manage key strategic ecosystem partner relationships
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to align roadmap, customer programs, and opportunities
  • Drive joint go-to-market initiatives and PR across the ecosystem to amplify BlackBerry QNX key messaging
  • Analyze emerging market and technology trends to identify technology gaps in the BlackBerry QNX product portfolio
  • Negotiate complex software licensing agreements to support BlackBerry QNX overall go-to-market requirements
  • Engage with Product Management, Engineering, Legal, Sales, Finance, and other groups to manage the BlackBerry QNX ecosystem
  • Perform market and customer needs analysis to develop market opportunity assessments and business model proposals
  • Articulate and champion the value proposition for our products and services to customers and key external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent technical degree or diploma program
  • Recent automotive embedded software experience
  • Problem-solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources
  • Experience negotiating legal agreements
  • Proven track record of forging and managing key relationships
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, technical marketing, or strategic alliances roles
