Position Overview:

This role is essential for providing high-level strategic guidance and support to the Executive Vice-President (EVP) within Farm Credit Canada. The successful candidate will be required to communicate fluently in both English and French, ensuring effective collaboration across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer strategic counsel to the EVP and the divisional leadership team, including providing constructive feedback and representing the EVP when necessary.
  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of the division's annual objectives, leveraging research and analysis to guide strategic choices.
  • Deliver strategic insights to address business challenges and convert priorities into actionable divisional projects.
  • Oversee the operations of the EVP's office, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

Essential Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of Farm Credit Canada's business strategy, corporate goals, and divisional functions.
  • Strong business acumen, curiosity, and emotional intelligence to foster partnerships with leadership.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration along with seven or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in managing enterprise-level business issues.
  • Cross-functional experience within the organization is advantageous.
