About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at AgWest Ltd. as a key member of our maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Diagnostics and Repair: Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions in heavy equipment using computerized and other testing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, repair or replace defective parts, and adjust equipment to ensure smooth operation.
  • Quality Control: Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications and perform quality control checks to maintain high standards.
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain new farm equipment, including attaching components and adjusting settings.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance tasks.
  • Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Service attachments and working tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Operational Efficiency: Operate machinery safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
